Refund and Returns Policy (Strict Policy)

 

 

Policy Overview

 

At Indiashirthouse, we deal with highly specialized and sensitive materials, often featuring a white base and a pre-starched finish. Due to the nature of these products, which can be easily compromised or damaged once the original packaging is opened, all sales are final. Please review all product descriptions, specifications, and sizing carefully before completing your purchase.

 

Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

 

We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds once an order has been successfully placed, processed, and shipped.

Justification for Strict Policy: Our commitment to quality means we only deliver products in pristine, factory-packed condition. The specific material we use (white and pre-starched) is extremely sensitive to handling, moisture, and environmental contaminants. Once the original packaging is opened, the material cannot be restored to its new, saleable condition, making its integrity and subsequent reuse uncertain. This strict stance is necessary to uphold the quality standards for all our customers.

 

Exceptions (Damaged or Incorrect Items)

 

The only exception to our No Returns/No Exchange policy is if you receive an item that is defective, damaged during transit, or significantly incorrect due to an error made by us (e.g., received the wrong product entirely or a product with a noticeable manufacturing flaw).

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  1. Contact Us Immediately: You must contact us within 2 days of receiving your order at hello@indiashirthouse.com.

  2. Provide Evidence: You must include your order number and clear, high-resolution photographic evidence showing the specific defect or the incorrect item received before opening the product fully, if possible.

  3. Resolution: Upon verification of the error, we will offer a replacement of the original item. We do not provide replacements for issues related to sizing errors chosen by the customer or minor color variations that match the product description.

 

Cancellations

 

We process orders quickly. Therefore, we generally cannot accept order cancellations. If you wish to cancel an order, you must contact us immediately at hello@indiashirthouse.com within 1 hour of placing the order. After this timeframe, cancellation is not possible as your material preparation may have already begun.
